AN UPDATE..... I called SuperATV, TT Robert in customer service. Told him exactly what was going on... He told me it was my "environment" causing the issue... I was literally stumped!!! I had no words!!! My Environment... NO KIDDING!! it's a windshield on a UTV... of course it's the environment!!! I actually felt dumber after the conversation with him. I seed a video using Dawn Platinum spray soap, it's supposed to help fogging & ice build up on glass w/shields. I'm going to try that. BUT, I will say this. I haven't purchased a lot of parts from SuperATV, but because of "MY EVIRONMENT" I won't be buying any other products.. Maybe SuperATV needs to realize that people who buy their products are actually using them as 'intended'... in mud and dust...

Stop using windex is my recommendations. More than 40 years experience on aircraft. Windex contains ammonia (plastic killer). Also be careful about any rain repellent make sure it is plastic compatible. Plexsus is a good product. Also 50 50 isopropyl water with a touch of dish soap for cleaning, that comes right from PPG the plexi manufacturer.

I would just replace it. If you rebuild it you will take any liability away from the manufacturer. I have the same hitch and don't have any issues other than both springs have broken off. Mine is just about 18 years old and only use it a few times every year.

Awesome step improvement! I’ve been thinking about replacing my floating stairs in my Winnebago. This would be an attractive alternative.

YEEESSSSSSSS.... I found out how to stop this annoying screen from going bright!!!!!! IT"S WAY AWESOME now to back up.... I'll try to post another video or explanation of how to get this done.. Only takes a 10mm socket and a pick (not a screw driver).

Just sold our 5 step RV-CO porta steps with riser. Selling the 5er and bought a motorhome, so now we're ordering the 3 step free standing for the motorhome. Great made in Texas product.

There's an update for that. Find a dealer to install it or find a shop or buddy with a GM MDI1 or 2 (even the Ford VCM2 or VCM3 work as they are Bosch made). They'll need an ACDelco TDS account and get the updates for the modules installed. You'll be able to dim the backup screen with the gauges afterwards.

There's gotta be a way to adjust the contrast in the settings?

Thanks you sir. I did a similar thing using a large syringe and some tubing. It took a little longer to put in about a half gallon of antifreeze until it overflowed. I have yet to drive it to see if it worked. My only concern is one of the comments that the lower take is supposed to be empty. Brings out the McGyver in us, eh?

Thank you for both your old and new videos on the RV-CO steps! I have a 5th wheel in Palm Springs that is stationary. I want to do the same thing as you with adding these steps. I have a Forrest River Cardinal 5th wheel that looks similar to your beautiful rig in this video. My rig steps are similar to yours, or at least I think they are. Mine are 26" wide. Yet, in your video, it looks like the RV-CO top deck covers your existing 5th-wheel top step entirely. Yet, RV-CO's website states the platform step is 23" wide. So, how would it cover your rig's top step? Or am I overthinking or overlooking something? Plus, I noticed in the older video that you didn't attach the RV-CO step to the top step on your rig, but you did with the new steps. Was there a reason why? Also, why did you buy new steps? Was there a safety issue with the old steps? Do you think there's a lifespan to the RV-CO steps? Thank you very much again for the videos! I've wanted to add "wooden" steps to my rig, but finding contractors who want to do the job here in Palm Springs is almost non-existent. It's almost as if people don't want to work anymore. So, these RV-CO steps would make a great alternative! Thanks again! GREAT VIDEO!

How about a 2017 Chevy Cruze premier with the outside mirror itself rattling when the stereo is on even at low volume? Meaning you could hear the rattle from the outside. Also does that truck have the same kind of electric locks on the inside with a little pin pops up the black pin that rattles on my car those are the only two things. I'm trying to figure out how to fix that one without affecting its operation. If you have any suggestions I appreciate it. Thank you

Just clean it with a vinegar and distilled water and let it run for a minute. Then put a fog juice again. That noise is from heater and pump. For example you heated the pot and put a cold water. Its gonna burst or popping noise

Ugh! I have a 2018 North Edition 650 can-am. We were told the selenoid was under the seat. we found it and took it out with a lot of work. After watching your video it looks like we may have taken the wrong thing out. I didn't realize there is a solenoid for the winch itself as well. I am having the same problems it has been going down but not up then suddenly it did the opposite it went up but now won't go down. I will have to see if I too have the selenoid behind my fender and check the connections before I purchase anything else. Thank you for your video. I wish I had watched it before I took out the selenoid under the battery tray.

Thank you for this video. My Warn winch on my Can Am 850xt was not coiling up. Popped off the panel to find all the nuts on the silenoid where not tight. Gave them all a good tightening and fixed the problem. Would of never check this without your video. Cheers.

Sorry I am late I am trying to figure this out also. 9 years later. I was trying to figure out how to pull the bulb out. And was confused why I was sold just the bulbs. I also have an 01 saturn l200.

I got the white lettering in my kit, was in the same bag as the screws.

After running some jobs for about 2 weeks, my filament was not melting so good and was clogging even at 250 degrees. I replaced the nozzle with an all metal head from micro-swiss which does away with that plastic tubing. For good measures I replaced the heater and thermocouple and all is well now. Seems that brass nozzles are not as good.

I took the box apart and it was carotid on the inside so I took sandpaper and cleaned it up works good now.

What is the step height from step to step?
